Job summary This is a position based in Costa Rica and does not offer relocation benefits. Global Operations, Artificial Intelligence Center (GO-AI) team, remotely handles stowing activities in the Fulfillment Centers globally. Our strategy is to employ a human-as-sensor model and be the human in the loop to perform just those portions of a task that require higher order cognitive ability. When a product is placed into a particular location, this activity is recorded and is sent to GO-AI team for verification. GO-AI Associate would watch this video and verify /mark the location of product and virtually submits the location of the product through a tool. This process helps to maintain the quality of fulfillment center. This is an operations and leadership support role. The Training Manager leads a team of Training Specialists, Training Assistants, and Training PMs supporting Site Lead and Sr. Leaders to ensure that GO-AI performance objectives are met and creating culture from the beginning by building positive employee experience and bench strength for the organization through assertive communication, effective partnership and proper interactivity. In addition, our Training Manager will create the strategy and lead the team to build world class curriculum and high-quality training content, programs and delivery mechanisms for our entry-level associates, Subject Matter Sr. Associates, front-line Team Managers and Group Managers. This role focuses on owning the curriculum development and program management required to meet the learning needs of our Costa Rica entire workforce in partnership with a similar role for our India site throughout the full employee life-cycle including new hire training, continuing education, and associ ted assessments and accreditation programs. This role will play a vital, strategic role in ensuring the Costa Rica GO-AI team has the right training curriculum, learning materials and assessments to provide the world’s best operations support to our customers and stakeholders. The primary responsibilities for the Training Manager are but not limited to: - Lead the Training team to manage multiple projects and programs concurrently. - Create and implement the SJO strategy for GO-AI training, and learning programs and partnering with global counterpart to align and standardize our processes. - Develop and deliver world class training and learning opportunities to enable our workforce to deliver the world’s best operations performance. - Collaborate effectively with our Operations and Support Functions teams across our SJO footprint to rapidly innovate and develop highly effective GO-AI training materials, assessments and learning options. - Manage a curriculum portfolio to ensure SJO workforce have accurate and up to date training materials and assessments from new hire training through continuing education and role specific accreditation programs. - Ensure effective development and use of assessments to guide and validate learning - Establish and oversee consistent processes to effectively and efficiently design and develop training materials and programs to best suit the needs of the content (e.g., includes online, classroom, virtual instructor-led training and blended learning options) - Leverage rapid, agile development techniques - Oversee and contribute to the design and development of exercises, tutorials, job aids, assessments, and other methods of learning including social or connected learning strategies. - Perform needs analyses using available data and evaluate program results to continuously improve learning effectiveness and deliver results. - Provide train the trainer programs (classroom or virtual/remote) to support implementation of training programs across the SJO GO-AI organization. - Support and incorporate use of our Knowledge Base into learning methods and strategies; support and help drive knowledge centered support methodologies.
