Overview : A Inside Account Manager II is tasked with being 2nd in command, sales lead, first level escalation in their region, supporting the team's tactical activities on a day to day basis, while building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with the major accounts in the region. They also support the regions Manager with strategic and team initiatives, providing rep coaching and mentorship while acting as the direct back up when the Manager is out of the office.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required :

  • Leadership (10%)
  • Mentorship/Coaching (20%)
  • Manager primary back up (holds, rebills, stock transfers, OOM exceptions, forecasts, escalations) (10%)
  • Supervise team (provide team performance feedback, support team gaps) (20%)
  • Manage top/major accounts (15%)
  • Execute customer strategies including strategic opportunities/projects, analysis, customer pricing, freight contract feedback (15%)
  • Coordinate with Client Executives and all internal departments on strategic initiatives/escalations (10%)

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Meets attendance and punctuality standards

Qualifications : Experience :

  • 5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Some College required.

Working Conditions:

  • Consistent non-standard work or overtime as business requires.
  • Professional, office environment.
  • Some travel required.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
  • Able to use a 10-key quickly and accurately.
  • Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.
  • Possesses strong data entry skills.
  • Ability to input 40 words per minute
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and French (where required).
  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
  • Able to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results.
  • Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.
