We are seeking an extremely reliable individual to ensure Gensler’s payroll process is executed flawlessly and will scale with the growth of our business. What You Will Do- Support Payroll Specialist to prepares and processes Costa Rica, Mexico and Colombia payroll in an efficient and accurate manner- Communicating and collaborate closely with Human Resources for all employees’ data and compensation related matters- Calculate and process retroactive salary increases- Conduct consistent audits on payroll, employee payroll records, employee payroll tax records, and all other payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance with both statutory and tax regulations.- Ensure appropriate documentation for operational process and procedures are in place and adhered to as part of operations- Create certified payroll reports for customers that require- Help to prepare relevant management reports, including biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.)- Train employees on self-service online access, submitting time off, viewing paystubs, going paperless etc- Responsible that Certified Payroll reports are filed according to the local jurisdiction requirements- Support payroll queries and responding in a timely manner- Support internal and external audits, domestic and international- Support the Payroll Supervisor with tasks as needed- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required Your Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required- 2+ years of relevant working experience in payroll (LATAM payroll will be a huge plus). Experience and basic skills include LATAM payroll processing and timekeeping reconciliation- Good communication skills and eagerness to learn new tools and techniques- Proficient in managing multiple tasks with varied deadlines, a self-starter who can keep daily payroll operation moving- Able to read, speak and write in Spanish- Able to read, speak and write in English is preferred- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)- Working knowledge of Workday and TMF Horizon are preferrable Life at Gensler At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
