We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer **to join our team. This is a remote opportunity based out of Costa Rica.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our Patient Context Management (PCM) team with a focus on automating test suites for a hybrid on-prem/cloud solution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement automation strategy & frameworks
  • Execute and maintain robust performance testing for the product
  • Develop and execute the QE plan for the product in AWS
  • Execute stable automated deployments and respond to test results and failures
  • Work closely with developers and leaders to ensure complete coverage of product features
  • Support product’s migration to AWS
  • Create and maintain detailed product and test documentation
  • Actively participate in requirements and design reviews with team members
  • Keep automation suite up to date with changes to the product

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years of test automation experience
  • Proficient with Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments
  • Understanding of manual and automation testing best practices
  • Demonstrated understanding of testing tools, techniques, and methodologies
  • High proficiency with common programming languages and frameworks (Java, JavaScript, C++, HTML, CSS preferred)
  • Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch
  • Familiarity with automated API testing
  • Experience working in an agile Scrum product development organization and supporting CI/CD workflows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to effectively interact with both internal teams and external customers and partners

Preferred

  • SaaS, Virtual Machine (VM) testing experience
  • Experience with Windows, Citrix, desktop virtualization, and RedHat technologies
  • Experience testing hybrid on-prem/cloud-based solutions
