About the Role : Our People Operations team support the administration of employee lifecycle by helping employees and management with any queries they might have.

This is extra important when you consider how much we care about our employees at Uber, so our mission is to make sure they have what they need so that thy'll be set up for success.

We're looking for a new member of our team in Costa Rica who'll be in the daily operations management as well as the connection between other HR teams (benefits, compensation, mobility, etc), the employees and the business.

What You'll Do :

  • Manage the complete onboarding lifecycle for new employees from offer letter to first day
  • Shape the future of the new employee onboarding experience by helping to automate and streamline the process
  • Maintain and update data within our HR/Payroll System, Workday, ensuring a high degree of accuracy
  • Provide a high-level of support to employees by responding to questions and escalating issues as necessary
  • Manage employee files and be responsible for uploading new hire documentation
  • Support the integrity of our data by running regular audits and reporting
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects within the People Operations Team and other administrative tasks as assigned
  • Self-driven. You have superior organizational skills, integrity and great follow through on tasks. You don't get overwhelmed easily
  • Naturally curious, innovative, very creative and constantly looking for ways to tweak and optimize process
  • You'll communicate and collaborate constantly with other areas, so communications skills are important
  • You'll work with onboarding as well as New hire processes and helping NUbers with questions, documents and overall providing general guidance during their first days

What You'll Need :

  • English and Spanish Speaking Required
  • 2+ years Human Resource Generalist/Coordinator Experience
  • HR Systems Experience
  • ETicketing System Experience (ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc.)
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
