Position summary: The MDM Analys will be responsible for activities related to the processing and payment of supplier invoices in Stryker’s newly created Costa Rica Shared Service Center.

This is a Shared Services role related to standing up the Finance One optimization program.

What you will do : Essential duties & responsibilities :

  • Liaise with relevant parties (buyers, requestors and suppliers, etc.) to resolve critical issues preventing invoices to be processed
  • Complete set up of new suppliers in the different ERPs handle by the team. Ensure all documentation and controls are met new up new suppliers and make changes to existing suppliers
  • Maintains documentation to support MDM transactions that facilitates the efficient review and audit of books and records
  • Comply with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records, particularly in relation to Corporate Delegation of Authority policy.
  • Performs other related work as assigned by management

What you need : Education & special trainings :

  • Associates Degree in Accounting, Business or related field
  • MS Office Suite
  • Fluent spoken and written English. Any other language is a plus
  • Oracle and SAP systems knowledge is a big plus

Qualifications & experience :

  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience in a finance function in matrixed international company (preferably American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems

Physical & mental requirements :

  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams, multi-task and meet deadlines consistently
  • Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate complicated issues effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure as well as ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
  • Computer or technical knowledge
  • Effective problem-solving skills
