TE Connectivity's Shipping & Receiving Teams perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments. They follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules and requirements. The Shipping & Receiving Teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment. They process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. They also route merchandise to destinations.

About the position : Responsabilities:

  • Ensure material reception and staging in a timely manner
  • Processing receipt transactions into stock following the storage of material
  • Ensure material delivery to shopfloor in the appropriate timing as requested either by manufacturing or by materials planners; by establishing an efficient feeding schedule
  • Make sure team are updating inventory issue upon completion of physical transactions.
  • Develop a plan to address discrepancies found in the bins. This includes corrective and preventive procedures.
  • Work with manufacturing to identify Kanban process improvements
  • Ensure no discrepancy between goods physically received and suppliers invoice and escalate in case of any issue
  • Document warehouse procedures
  • Make sure all deliveries are shipped to customer according to the planned date
  • Following current corporate guidelines for transportation, export documentation, customer labeling and marking requirements.
  • Invoicing customer orders on a daily basis
  • Ensuring proper paperwork accompanies outgoing shipments to customers as required
  • Support in processing/correcting mismatches on a daily basis
  • Support in Cycle Counting/Audits activity
  • Reviewing/correcting Bin Report on a daily basis
  • Reconciling the Bin to Stock Status variance Report
  • Organizing/conducting a physical inventory
  • Make sur the PFEP data are updated for all active part numbers
  • Interacts regularly with vendors (e.g. carriers, and customers) and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product Development/Product Management to optimize systems concepts, procedures and integrated processes between outside suppliers and internal functions and improve how logistics are managed.
  • Understands international Letters of Credit and other international shipping documents.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience and knowledge in Logistics and Warehousing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in business administration, International Commerce, Industrial Engineering, or similar
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to evaluate and minimize costs and evaluate purchase quantities.
  • Competent organization skills and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and intellectual property information.
