What you will do : Conduct comprehensive internal audits of global IT processes and related controls to assess compliance with the related standards, regulations, and industry frameworks. Document and communicate audit findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to address identified non-conformities. Collaborate within team and others throughout the IT organization in the development, execution, and/or implementation of compliance initiatives and programs.

  • Conduct thorough and independent audits of IT processes and controls.
  • Identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and non-conformities and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, conduct interviews, and collect evidence during the audit process.
  • Prepare reports documenting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to address identified non-conformities.
  • Communicate audit results to key stakeholders, including management and relevant departments, and provide guidance on remediation efforts.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in related standards, industry trends, and regulations.
  • Establish key metrics/status report to management team on a periodic basis; metrics/status to include compliance review execution results, general audit activity metrics, management action plan status, special projects status, and other key metrics as deemed appropriate.
  • Perform assessments to identify areas of concern and develop strategies for investigating and/or mitigating risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders providing guidance and support om IT matters.
  • Assist in the development, execution, and/or implementation of other compliance initiatives and/or projects.
  • Evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of policies, procedures, and related controls.
  • Verify that the organization's policies, procedures, and current practices align with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

What you need :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Other auditor qualifications (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, ASQ, CISA) a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., Life Sciences, Medical Device) a plus
  • Experience working for medical device company, or related work experience.
  • Auditing experience, including planning/executing/reporting, and hosting/facilitating.
  • Knowledge of industry standard frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001/27001/20000, NIST, SOC2)
  • Understanding of 21 CFR 820 desired.
