Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Runs the order recommendation, reviews and releases orders according to MRP suggestions and considering stock rotation objectives and needs by dates
  • Issue and Expedite Supplier Acknowledgement In Conformance to Agreed Final Purchase Order
  • Follows the order acknowledgement received from suppliers and inputs the dates in the ERP systems
  • Expedites open PO's to ensure timely delivery
  • Ensures on time delivery for open orders to suppliers and works on establishing an efficient working cooperation with them
  • Work Collaboratively with the Planning team to prevent shortage and to provide feedback on lead time requests or expedites
  • Communicates suppliers related issues with sourcing group to ensure proper development measures are taken

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 0-2 years’ experience in Purchasing or Production Scheduling/Planning
  • N.A.P.M and/or A.P.I.C.S certification a plus

Language Skills

  • English Proficiency Required

Other requirements

  • Experience working with Oracle ERP system Preferred
  • Good working knowledge of MRP
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good analytic and problem-solving skills and be attentive to detail work in a dynamic environment.
