YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide personnel, expertise and the management system framework to perform HSE expert support of sites in the region, including local HSE Management System setup, Safety Assessments, Management of local governmental processes regarding HSE aspects and HSE performance reporting (e.g. BAYSIS, Intelex).
  • Assist with HSE compliance training and inspect labs, sites and field operations to ensure compliance with occupational safety, environment and health standards.
  • Establish operational objectives, giving structure to local HSE program implementation and task execution.
  • Monitor performance and effectiveness of HSE programs and local HSE management systems, which are in place to ensure compliance.
  • Analyze HSE data and advise on appropriate measures to prevent new or recurring accidents.
  • Promote the use of region safety trend analysis and direct the proper use of root cause incident investigations and site inspections of operational procedures, facility design, equipment and materials.
  • Create, coordinate and maintain processes on HSE administration for external certifications (e.g.: ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Responsible Care, etc.).
  • Prepare and facilitate HSE Management Reviews, internal HSE audits and support the continuous HSE improvement cycle.
  • Coordinate human rights programs and strategies for the site.
  • Actively participate in the development and execution of the Global Row Crops/ R&D HSE implementation strategy.
  • Manage HSE budget in a cost-effective way and define priorities and approve HSE reviews, Capital Projects and OPAs as appropriate.

WHO YOU ARE

  • University degree or higher in HSE (minimum legal requirement to practice in Occupational Health offices).
  • At least 3 years of professional business experiences with growing responsibilities.
  • Advanced English level, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Excellent planning skills.
  • Capability of collaboration and to facilitate open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholder.
