Technical Support Agent

Pacific Barcode Latin America is excited to announce new available positions for our new location in Alajuela, Costa Rica. Pacific Barcode Inc. selected Costa Rica as their new site for expanding their business due to rapid growth and opportunities available.

You would be amongst the first on board at our new site, which means a lot of growth potential.

Reports to: General Manager (Costa Rica)

Works closely with technical support lead in California

Key strengths required: Communication, Customer Service, Written and Verbal Skills, Attention to Detail, Follow‐through, Process Oriented.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical assistance over the phone, through virtual platforms, or in-person to Pacific Barcode costumers who have purchased equipment.

Job Duties (Other Duties May be Assigned)

• Work with the costumer to resolve any technical issues

• Assist costumer with setup and installation of their printing equipment.

• Locate and install drivers

• Perform accurate diagnosis and repairs

• Successfully complete training provided by equipment manufacturers.

• Knowledge in use of basic hand tools and electronic diagnostic equipment

• Documents and tracks all customer activity with our CRM (Customer Relationship Manager)

• Identifies customers who may benefit from additional Pacific Barcode products and services.

• Reminder calls to purchase additional items/services from Pacific Barcode

• Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products.

• Work with internal departments to meet customer's needs

• Full COVID-19 vaccination :

• Excellent oral and written English is required.

• Desirable: education in a technical related field (electronics, electrical and mechanical systems).

• Mechanical ability to take apart and put together printing equipment.

Salary : ₡650,000.00 per month
