Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field.

  • At least proven 3 years of relevant experience including on-the-job experience supporting, preferably in manufacturing environment.
  • English level B

Responsibilities

We are seeking for a Mid Accountant to join our dynamic team of industry leading experts. Under the direction of the Finance Manager, this position will have a gradual growth as the employee becomes familiar with the company process / structure. This position will be responsible to administer the accounting of Costa Rica Facility, follow up metrics / KPIs and provide action plans to improve work in junction with the organization to become more efficient, and perform bookkeeping for Costa Rica facility.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in:

  • General ledger accounting

  • Accounts payable management

  • Vendor reconciliations and aging review.

  • Electronic invoices review.

  • Basic accounting and compliance knowledge in Free Trade Zone

  • Banks reconciliations.

  • Cash flow review.

  • Travel expenses review.

  • Free trade zone (Zona Franca) requirements and paperwork

Required Skills :

  • Ability to work in a self-managed work team environment.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English and Spanish
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to deliver information oral or written in person or digitally, as well as listening skills for understanding.
  • Sound judgment and decision making, problem solving, flexibility, assertiveness, resilience, and strong quality orientation
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, with a customer-focused sense of urgency
