Job description: The Principal Data Engineer will grow Stryker’s capabilities in analytics. This position will be responsible for discovering information hidden in data to derive value for finance services, improve decision making, and build data solutions to enhance outcomes and economic value and provide feedback to data sources owners to improve datasets.
This position will lead the design, architecture and development for Finance Services optimized data pipelines and databases. It will develop and define test/validation plans for large-scale data processing pipelines, optimize by improving reliability, scalability, efficiency, and data quality. The development of data lake house for Finance Services will be under responsibility of this position.

What you will do :

What you need :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or related fields.
- Fluent spoken and written English. Any other language is a plus.
- Preferred: GCP, AWS, AZURE platforms certifications. Power Bi, Tableau reporting certifications.
Qualifications & experience :
- 6+ software engineering experience or equivalent (e.g., CS undergrad + some work), with incremental responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience developing process improvement, automation, or data analytics solutions for Finance organizations.
- Demonstrated experience as team leader or technical leader of groups developing process improvement, automation, or data analytics solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in connecting and automating to multiple ERPs using industry available tools (SAP HANA, ODBC, APIs, Power Platform, python scripting).
