Patient Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outreach to English-speaking patients, gathering and updating information on treatment status, doctor appointments, changes in medical care, work status, and relevant documents.
  • Retrieve medical records and bills from healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of insurance processes, create estimates, and facilitate payment transactions.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as assigned to support efficient operations at Iceberg Health.
  • Maintain detailed and current case notes, ensuring proper documentation of all interactions and activities.

Requirements :

  • Previous experience in healthcare or legal fields is advantageous.
  • Exceptional follow-up skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask effectively, handling tasks promptly and tactfully when interacting with colleagues and the public.
  • Strong organizational skills, both in terms of task management and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Capability to work independently and responsibly, keeping case notes up-to-date.
