Us Personal Banking Ccar/capital Planning Sr

This role will be the lead for US Personal Banking CCAR/Capital Planning managing a group of approximately 5 team members. The role will be in charge of executing Capital Planning / CCAR / FP&A activities to produce financial projections for USPB products (Branded Cards, Retail Services or Retail & Mortgage), working closely with FP&A product teams and Corporate FP&A.

Key responsibilities

  • Support efforts to enhance the Capital Planning / CCAR / FP&A model framework,, alignment of Strategic Plan and CCAR forecasting, standardization of supporting processes, tools/templates
  • Execute the quarterly Capital Planning / business planning forecasting process and annual Recovery and Resolution Planning activities
  • Perform analysis of capital allocations and help drive capital optimization strategies through enhancements of capital allocation methodologies
  • Work collaboratively with US consumer product partners and modeling teams to enhance US consumer PPNR regression models
  • Analyze macro-economic scenarios, consumer behaviors and trends, evaluate forecasting results, and document justification/rationale for overlays and adjustments to reflect business actions
  • Work collaboratively with US consumer product partners to develop deliverables, such as P&L results, forecasting analysis, trend comparisons
  • Prepare analytics and results to support presentations for senior management reviews (such as US LFOs, USPB CFO, USPB CEO reviews) and provide explanations of results in comparison to other forecasts and scenarios
  • Work collaboratively with USPB Finance team members and help execute activities under tight deadlines
  • Support responses to stress testing requests from Model Validation teams, Internal Audit, Regulators, etc.
  • Act as a change agent and work collaboratively with a broader team is very important; identifying gaps and streamlining processes are primary elements of the role
  • Be a very quick learner, ready to dive into details, gain good business knowledge of Citi’s consumer business, and become a PPNR expert/ go-to leader
  • Manage and develop the team and look for efficiencies across the team sharing best practices

Qualifications

  • +8 years of experience of financial analysis in a large corporate environment (minimum of 3 years banking experience and previous FP&A, CCAR / stress testing or similar experience)
  • Excellent management skills and experience developing and leading teams
  • Financial product knowledge, particularly in Consumer Banking is preferred
  • Ability to translate financial schedules, complex consumer behavior and business trends into meaningful and actionable presentation observations
  • Excellent quantitative/analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to details
  • Change agent mentality to drive process enhancements and simplification and demonstrated ability to lead
  • Ability to work independently with a proven track record of solving problems and delivering solutions
  • Experience working effectively in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment within a matrix organization
  • Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills (VBA and Access a plus)
  • Knowledge of systems like Ruby, Hyperion, SAS, Essbase, etc. is a plus

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • MBA preferred
