About the role : As an Automation Manager at Tax Goddess, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of automation solutions across various departments, as well as leading our efforts in driving efficiency and innovation through automation technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, streamline processes, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities :

  • Lead the automation strategy and roadmap, aligning with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and prioritize projects based on potential impact and ROI.
  • Design and develop automation solutions using industry-leading tools and technologies, such as Zapier, Kajabi, ClickFunnels, Slack Workflow, and API machine learning, AI, and workflow automation.
  • Manage the end-to-end implementation of automation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on automation best practices, standards, and methodologies.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for automation initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, security standards, and company tactical and procedural standards.
  • Monitor and measure automation solutions' performance, identifying improvement and optimization areas.
  • Develop training materials and provide hands-on training to end-users on using automation tools and solutions effectively.
  • Stay current with emerging automation technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and making recommendations for adoption as appropriate.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automation, process improvement, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams in automation initiatives and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical skills with hands-on experience in automation tools and technologies, such aszapier, kajabi, click funnels, slack workflow and API, and workflow automation tools.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and identify/help manifest within your team creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Working hours : Our business hours for operations in the USA are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Mountain Standard Time (MST) in Arizona. Your specific or flexible duty hours will be discussed with your Head of Department (HOD).

  • Expect to work at least 40 hours per week.
  • 50 hours per week during the tax season, and weekends could be required.
