What this job involves (Provide a short job summary paragraph) The primary objective of the role is to perform review and controls for full cycle finance/accounting processes, including analysis of accounts, accounting transactions, invoicing, vendor payments, and compliance. Providing process guidance and controls for cash management, AP and AR, accruals and reconciliations. Prioritizing and maintaining organization of a high-volume workload for the global client finance team. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Senior Financial Process Specialist to join our team: Location : Costa Rica.

Work schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Work model : Hybrid.

Contract Type : Indefinite-term.

This role is responsible for learn and be able to undertake all duties performed within the Client Accountant and AP/AR Administrator roles.

What is your day to day? (Add no more than 7 job duties max below this header] Be the main point of contact for day to day running of the client accounting processes. Work with the team leaders to ensure there are no backlogs of work, finance control weaknesses or process issues. Liaise with all regions to ensure Key Performance Indicators are achieved and aim to exceed expectations. Take on responsibility for the client accounting processes for specified processes to include trial balance reporting, nominal ledger reconciliations, tax reporting, funding reviews and ensuring client deadlines are met.

Required 5+ years relevant experience of working with accounting teams and processes. Relevant university degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance Fluent English in speaking and writing is a must

Preferred CPA, CMA or CIA preferred Good knowledge of Client Systems (JD Edwards E1)would be advantageous Previous experience of training / mentoring members of a team preferred
