Process Engineer (CR) : Heredia | Full-time | Unlimited
Your tasks : Process development Collaboration with the Product Management and Development department including global sites Assessment of products and assembly processes in terms of their feasibility and reproducibility Development and validation of new, reliable assembly processes and technologies Development, modification and procurement of assembly tools Preparation of documentation for assembly and production processes and associated training materials Implementation of new products at various production facilities
Transfer duties Completion of product and processes transfers, including translation of production documents and training of personnel Technical support for global production facilities Completion of international projects relating to strategic initiatives, new technologies, quality problems and continuous improvement
Continuous improvement Introduction of measures for continuous product and process improvement Evaluation and procurement of production facilities to improve efficiency and reduce costs Management of or support for rationalization projects
Life cycle support and quality problems Technical support for global production facilities to assist with supply and quality problems Support for the quality assurance team to help rectify quality problems as quickly as possible
Miscellaneous Further training to meet personnel and role-specific needs Ensuring a deputy is available in the event of absences Provides technical support for global production facilities
All other relevant job duties as assigned
Your profile : Education : BS Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial
Experience : Minimum one year’s of industry related experience
Skills/Knowledge : Basic mechanical training
Familiarity with QA9000, ISO/TS16949 or EN9100 Familiarity with production and assembly technology Design experience Well-founded RF skills Analytical thought processes and systematic working style in a global environment Good English skills International project management Readiness to travel/flexibility Well-founded IT skills Professional approach to dealing with other cultures (adaptable)
