This is a unique opportunity to be part of our Americas Planning & Forecasting Hub in Costa Rica. Providing planning & forecasting support to a variety of stakeholders across different markets, this role is fantastic opportunity to develop your business partnering skills and develop your career. Working within our technology enabled P&F Hub, you will help manage the preparation of in-market forecasts, prepare monthly management reports and other complex activities.

Your Responsibilities : This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:

  • Lead the Planning & Forecasting preparation of the 3+1 plan to the Leadership Team.
  • Responsible for the preparation of the monthly Operational, Advertising and Promotion expenses.
  • Accountable for creating, updating and maintaining financial models to provide detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts for the market (Core Commercial Cycle process).
  • Compare forecasts against budgets and prior month forecasts.
  • Performs variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements going forward.
  • Prepare internal management reports for executive leadership and support their decision making.
  • Completing ad-hoc reporting requests from in-market finance teams.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:

  • University educated (Bachelor’s Degree) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering.
  • Relevant experience (3-5 years) preferably within a similar operating model and similar sector.
  • Experience in Financial Planning/Budgeting, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Expertise in creating or extracting information from /to excel and use of advanced formulas.
  • Proficient financial knowledge of analysis, evaluation, modelling and forecasting with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in working with SAP.
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.
  • Effective communications skills.
  • Strong spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:

However, if you have the following, it would be a plus:

  • Power BI, Advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Portuguese and/or French will be considered a plus.
