YOUR OPPORTUNITYCOE Global Ops Supply Chain Senior Analyst position is a highly competitive role structured to strengthen/develop a well-rounded accounting and finance skillset, which will be the foundation for advancing your career at Bacardi.Reporting to Supply Chain Finance Team Lead, this role will support Supply chain finance organization and operations in charge of supply chain finance processes such as freight cost analysis and budgeting, variance analysis and reporting, financial closings, Budget control and reporting purchases control (DC, Bailment Warehouses and Freight) and write Offs management (Finished Goods).ABOUT YOUThis role requires interactions across many functions (Finance & Non-Finance), including acting as a resource to the international markets; as such, this role will regularly interact with a multitude of organizational levels, typically from employees to directors. Additionally, Supply Chain Team Professional, will deal with confidential and sensitive data and must assure conformity with policies, procedures, and regulations of Bacardi and external governments and agencies. Responsibilities :

  • WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE- Prepare budget for NAM Supply Chain Finance, budget update and load to TM1. Prepare and maintain budget support documentation.
  • Analyze assigned GL accounts, monitor expenditures, and recommend budget adjustments as deemed appropriate. Identify issues causing transaction recording errors, process reclass entries or request and follow up for their correction and investigate root causes to request preventive measures.
  • Perform monthly closing and accruals and analyze freight/warehouse bills, reclassify transactions or journal entry, prepare and document monthly accruals -perform other journal entries for reclasses as per business needs-.
  • Execute the performance analysis for distribution center, storage costs and freight volume and non-volume as well as the Risk & Opportunities.
  • Perform the consolidation of US performance for monthly analysis: reconciliation of TM1 information with Bl of all US Supply Chain managed accounts.
  • Prepare, document, and submit monthly manual accruals or accounting adjustments.
  • Prepare and publish monthly responsibility reports, show, and explain variances to budget.
  • Prepare the freight cost analysis report, analyze, and explain monthly variances between budget and actuals.
  • Record inventories write offs and provisions, create support documents and process reclass journal entry.
  • Perform storage and distribution cost performance analysis.
  • AD HOC analysis including special projects support, business case value creation and validation.Participate as business support to system enhancements, strengthening and tests in the transportation area.
  • lNew processes implementations and review of the current ones, including documentation. Includes, but not limited to freight capitalization, write offs, freight accrual verification, excise tax.
  • Build capability/technical mastery within the team via ongoing training programs and continuously identify, propose, and execute process improvements.
  • Develop the organization ensuring open communication with the team, via meaning full lets talks, department meetings and daily touchpoints.
