Job Description : Payroll Analyst LATAM (Chile, Colombia & Costa Rica) - New Healthcare Company

We expect the creation of the two companies will be completed by the end of 2023. For now, we will continue to operate as one global company. This role is positioned to drive the success of the "New Health Care Company”.

The impact you will make in this role: As Payroll Analyst you will deliver payroll services according to country regulations and labor law for multiple countries (Chile, Colombia & Costa Rica). Support employees and supervisors questions surrounding compensation, payroll processes, etc. You will collaborate with payroll provider to report and solve issues related to payroll. You will also:

• Follows support process and procedures for reporting issues and submitting tickets to Payroll provider or appropriate support organization.- Works closely with leadership to determine priorities for the payroll provider, assign responsibilities, and establish timetables to ensure success.- Collaborating closely with HR teams for other payroll relevant tasks- Staying abreast of laws and regulations and enforcing the processes aligned with these regulations related to payroll and ensuring alignment with Global payroll strategy expectations- Maintaining high quality of data in the HR/Payroll systems.- Managing reporting tasks for internal and external government systems- Identifying opportunities, making process improvement recommendations, and implementing changes- Protects the corporation and assures 3M values and policies are upheld and complied with- Back-up support for other LATAM countries. Other projects as assigned

Your Skills and Expertise- A bachelor’s level university/college degree is generally required.- A minimum of 2-4 years Payroll, HR or Finance working experience is preferable.- Strong proficiency with local payroll legislation for Costa Rica, Colombia & Chile (ISAPRES, taxes, leaves, payouts, etc).- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)- Advanced English proficiency

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Two (2) years of In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, labor laws of the countries supported, compensation, staffing, employee relations, etc.- Experience in Workday and other payroll systems- Ability to manage multi-countries payroll within the timeline- Regional experience with payroll project or HR process- Payroll vendor management experience- A team player with strong ability to work in a remotely environment.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
