Key Responsibilities :

  • Be able to ‘tell a story’ using advanced analytics and data visualization techniques
  • Derive data driven insights in close partnership with Finance, Operations, Commercial, and Data Science teams to expose opportunities for revenue and cost optimization
  • Leverage visualization tools such as Power BI and SAS Visual Analytics to perform interactive data exploration that help businesses and senior leaders understand impact of seen opportunities
  • Support the maintenance and development of the centralized reporting environment
  • Develop reporting solutions that set a higher standard in terms of analytical insight and user experience

Requirements/Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Statistics, or a related field, Master’s preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience building dashboards and reporting solutions with PowerBI
  • Experience analyzing large, complex data sets yielding opportunities for revenue and/or process improvement within an organization
  • Ability to problem solve and scale solutions
  • Excel and SQL experience required
  • Understanding of data lakes and relational databases preferred
  • Experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAS Analytics) is required
  • Experience/awareness of DAX, Python, MDX is an advantage
  • Experience with Azure Analysis Services or SQL Server Analysis Services preferred
  • Highly numerate, with the ability to analyze, model and interpret data
  • A passion for accuracy with high levels of attention to detail
  • A focus on delivering a quality product to specification and within agreed timelines
  • Interpersonal skills: exceptional verbal/written communication, listening and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of achieving desired results without direct report authority
  • Minimal travel required <10%
  • Build and maintain data models within Azure Analysis Services and Databricks
  • Work with customers to capture requirements and deliver solutions
  • Ensure the quality and correctness of the data through validation and reconciliation
  • Query databases and understand how to combine data from different sources
  • Performs other duties as assigned
