Account Manager - UBER Direct

About the Role

This role is part of the Uber Direct Commercial Area. As Account Manager your role is to develop, consolidate and manage a key account portfolio, but given the fact that Uber Direct is a new line of business we truly believe in our #oneuber value, so we are looking for hands-on people who are ready to have some participation from the Sales process to the onboarding and regular service for our accounts.

This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your commercial, relationship and portfolio management skills for the assigned Territory. This role's main focus is on post-sales of Strategic and Medium Sized Business for Uber Direct, deepening the relationship with our restaurant partners to increase retention as well as driving business growth, with mutually beneficial outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Portfolio management of key restaurant merchants for Uber Direct
  • Generate action plans by account to achieve the objectives for each performance indicator and to achieve the maximum monthly estimated trips for Uber Direct
  • To be the point of contact of our business partners from administrative personnel to Marketing, Operations, General Managements
  • Closely works with the sales team to monitor implementation and be ready and embedded with merchant expectations set during the sales process
  • Define with every merchant their mid to long term vision of a successful partnership
  • Create a proper agenda as a result of the definition of success indicators previously defined, involving ways of work with different stakeholders depending on the level of the business review (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly).
  • Regular store visit and store managers interactions to get granular feedback
  • Analyze performance at a trip level, understanding and proposing solutions to improve
  • Work closely with Ops teams to develop strategies for improving our courier experience with the merchant interactions (pre, during and post order completion)
  • Billing process owner

  • 3 years of experience as an account executive, sales and / or any commercial area
  • Bachelor (degree preferred) in Business Administration, Marketing or Industrial Engineering
  • Intermediate to advanced english (writing, comprehension, reading)
  • Office package - advanced handling of Excel
  • Experience in customer service, sales and data management
