The BSC - Americas in San Jose, Costa Rica is responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of standardized, global financial processes across the company business divisions and markets for the Americas region.

We are looking for a person with an excellent attitude and skills able to create a good environment and work as a team who will support finance and business areas. It must be able to work under pressure, be proactive and organized to demonstrate a sense of urgency, and prioritize tasks to deliver a quality of customer service by providing financial assistance and trend analysis to address sensitive decisions on the payments cycle across America’s market.

The Disbursements Analyst will be responsible to support the execution of Procure to Pay (PtP) settlements process and know and understand the payment cycle model and the procedures of the Source to Settle areas, it is also required to handle all the concepts within the payments process as well as managing SOX internal audit controls which are also part of the activities in the role.

Primary responsibilities but not limited to :

  • Payments rejected and tracking on end-to-end processing
  • Payment processing and monitoring.
  • Controllership / Internal controls knowledge SOX based
  • Custom and Tax payments according to local regulations in each country
  • Upload payments process into Bank platforms (local - foreign payments, word link, pre-format)
  • Calendar and payment program configuration.
  • Be accountable for the accuracy of each entry
  • Provide and define KPIs and SLAs
  • Propose process improvement mindset
  • Being collaborative to resolve process and/or technical issues across multiple ERP systems
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

Education Minimum Required :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance (or career in process).
  • Strong oral and communication skills (English/Spanish).

Required Technical Skills :

  • 1-2 years of experience in SAP in the AP module.
  • Intermediate to advanced English (80% oral and written)
  • Intermediate to advanced Portuguese (80% oral and written)
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using Bank Platforms
