As Supply Chain Professional, you will report to the Supply Chain Manager and carry out the activities regarding planning, main logistics KPIs and stock level analysis to ensure customer satisfaction, operational & manufacturing efficiencies. In this position you will work closely with the Warehouse, Import, Production, Purchasing and Planning personnel. Your new position executes S&OP process, inventory levels definition and SLOB analysis while also playing a key role in executing portions of the plan by reviewing customer and business expectations by instituting target inventory and production levels to satisfy those objectives.

Team Overview and Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare S&OP detailed information to perform monthly cycle.
  • Follow-up clip index, OTD, OTIF, and other important metrics.
  • Reviews unusual demand flags for appropriate action.
  • Analyzes usage of finished goods to create an effective ABC classification and establishes root causes for slow moving inventory.
  • Computes safety stock and reorder points for finished goods material stock program.
  • Updates and publishes lead times.
  • Reviews internal customer service metrics and investigates root causes.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Results-driven to effect constant improvement in cycle times, service and inventory turns.
  • Ability to plan, organize and pull together information from disparate sources to form a coherent picture of the state of play allowing for scoping of actions.
  • Solid logic/reasoning skills which can influence and persuade different functional groups within the organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years in a Supply Chain or Operations (manufacturing, distribution, materials management, etc.) role is preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power BI etc.) is essential.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems and databases, SAP preferred.
  • APICS Certification Preferred
