Responsibilities : Responsibilities :

  • Lead technical operations on key initiatives or projects from requirements to design to implementation
  • Develop infrastructure as code using best practices and implementations for on premises and cloud environments.
  • Support technology automation Compute, Storage and Operating system in the public cloud as well as on-premises
  • Provide input on the future execution of the delivery and management of environments with a strong emphasis on automation, security, scalability and resilience
  • Evaluates the existing systems and provides the technical direction to IT support staff.
  • Plans and implements systems automations as required for better efficiency.
  • Utilize engineering and programming skills focused on enabling a DevOps model.
  • Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Deals with work process, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for the successful accomplishments according to the requirements of the stakeholders.
  • Design and develop the build, release, and deploy toolchain for DevOps

Qualifications: It will really make us smile if you have

  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a: Sr system administrator, System engineer, Automation Engineer or Devops Engineer.
  • 5+ years of experience in coding and scripting using: Powershell, Bash and Python.
  • 3+ of experience working with GitHub, Jenkins, Dockers, Terraform, Packers, Kubernetes and Ansible.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop, servers and networking technology.
  • Advanced Linux administration skills, preferably with Ubuntu Server, CentOS & RHEL.
  • Strong background in Windows administration.
  • Experience working with CI/CD processes and practices.
  • Knowledge in web servers and services.
  • Knowledge in web languages, e.g HTML and PHP
  • Knowledge and Experience in Azure and/or AWS.
  • Desirable Industry Certifications: RHCSA, LPI, Linux +, Azure, AWS, VMware etc
  • Experience with provisioning infrastructure through IAC (preferably Terraform) and cloud automation/security principles.
  • Proficiency with source control, continuous integration (eg: git, Jenkins)
  • Ability to use wide variety of open source technologies.
  • Hands-on, self-starter
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Fluent in English language
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferable

  • Strong working knowledge of AWS Cloud infrastructure (EC2, RDS, VPC peering, Route53, S3, Autoscaling)
  • Strong working knowledge with AWS services (SQS, Eventbridge, etc)
