JLL supports the Whole You, personally and professionally. The Risk Manager will be part of the Value and Risk Management team and will have second line of defense responsibility (1st line being operational managers who are responsible for implementing corrective actions to address process and control deficiencies; 2nd line helping to build and/ or monitor the first line-of-defense controls and 3rd line being independent and objective internal or external audits) for oversight and execution of the risk management framework across all property risk areas (operational, financial, reputational, etc.) for a major client in the technology sector. This role facilitates the creation and fulfilment of the Risk Strategy and Policies, contributing to the design, implementation and ongoing management of the Risk Framework. Defining Risk Appetite, aligned with Client’s Group risk policies, and ensuring the risk management framework is designed accordingly. Designing and implementing an overall risk management process for, which includes impact analysis of both potential risks and actual risk events Overseeing risk management practices, supporting and guiding the first line in their risk management activities Effectively using systems and controlled processes and practice Identifying risks, assessing potential impacts and developing risk mitigation strategies, updating these on an annual basis. Awareness of appropriate controls that are established for each key risk and those controls are assessed for suitability and effectiveness on an ongoing basis. Implementing, maintaining and raising awareness of the Risk Framework, including: Corporate Risk Profile; Risk Appetite; Risk Taxonomy; Risk acceptance, etc. Desired skills and experience for this job A Bachelor's degree (ideally in one of the following accounting; engineering; finance or economics; IT; law; management or business studies; mathematics; risk management; science or statistics). Minimum of 6 years of Risk Management experience in any of the industries. Experience of performing operational risk assessments. Experience of operating with key stakeholders in the company. Strong awareness and understanding of wider business and economic environment, bringing a holistic perspective to risk management Experience in the development, maintenance and oversight of Risk Management frameworks, and associated policies In depth knowledge of methodologies and techniques for identification and evaluation of risk, measurement, monitoring and reporting frameworks Experience of developing and maintaining structures that promote a risk-based culture and decision making through communication, training and awareness initiatives Structured and organized. Pragmatic and logical problem solver.
