Job Description : Position Summary

Support payroll process in a multi-state environment. Work closely with the payroll team to maintain and update a variety of payroll data to ensure that employees are paid correctly and appropriate deductions are applied with assistance from a Senior.

General Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit paper payroll checks for employees who do not have direct deposit
  • Collect banking information for direct deposit setup and initiate deposits on paydays
  • Familiarize yourself and keep current with the taxation of salaries, benefits and other factors
  • Maintain and document all payroll records
  • Conduct semi-annual audits of all payroll records
  • Perform time entries and basic Master Data entries.
  • Detect and process issues related to uncollected payroll
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
  • Follow and implement best practices and processes defined by the company, to work with high standards of quality.
  • Participate to status meetings
  • Attend internal training.
  • Perform other functions related to the position.

Qualifications :

  • English level B2+
  • Student in accounting, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge with ERP systems and banking portals desirable
  • SAP HR-Payroll authorization concepts and role catalogues desirable
  • Understanding of payroll processes and monitoring / detective controls
  • Knowledge to analyze and to understand requirements from the customer
  • Knowhow in IT and HR infrastructures topics
  • Good Knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
