About the Team

Micro Focus is an international company with offices and employees in many locations around the world. As such, there is a significant amount of work across time zones and differing cultures. The ability to work on distributed teams with customers from all regions of the world is essential.

Responsibilities

• Creation/maintenance of Environment Management procedures/process.
• Liaison/Coordination with 3rd party (Architects, SMEs, DBAs, Test Teams) to build and refresh Financial and Reporting systems that support Micro Focus Financial year planning.
• Project plan upgrades and refresh windows of BAU and Project environments.
• Liaison with cloud service providers/3rd party Infrastructure companies for provision of servers/platforms required for Environments.
• Coordination with Release and Change Management functions for upgrades/refresh of SAAS Instances.
• Creation of documentation for repeatable Environment Management procedures
• Acquire and maintain a clear understanding of the technologies utilized in Micro Focus products, parts, and services.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Advanced English Level

Preferred Qualifications (Plus)

• Foundational or expert knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
• Experience with SAP, Anaplan, Callidus Cloud, Infomatica and DB level reporting / BI highly advantageous.
• Experience of working in E2E project delivery at an Enterprise level, especially associated with financial systems and a good understanding of Global Taxation and Yearly company reporting.
• Experience of working within organizations that have implemented Agile software delivery methodology is advantageous.
