Position Overview

As a Technical Specialist, you will be part of the License Compliance Analytics team within Global License Compliance Sales. Our team is instrumental in supporting the global organization by detecting and addressing incompliant usage of Autodesk’s software. We are a strong partner for both the data science & engineering team, as well as for the customer-facing LC sales teams; we build the bridge between data and business. Responsibilities :

  • Work as the Technical Specialist with the North America LC Sales team

  • Customer Engagement Responsibilities:

  • Conduct remote meetings with clients to obtain license usage information (Network Report Logs)

  • Take inbound calls from customers who need technical assistance in completing the license usage and deployment inventory

  • Support Autodesk customers to deploy and troubleshoot our scanning tool ScanWin as well as troubleshooting PowerShell scripts and other queries

  • Assist with creating group policies and their roll out

  • In some circumstances, assist customer to execute manual data collection

  • Evaluate completeness of inventory data and ensure its preparation for analysis by Autodesk

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant professional experience

  • Proven experience with the following technologies:

  • Powershell Scripts

  • Active Directory

  • Group Policies

  • DNS/DHCP & Network Configuration

  • MS Excel

  • Microsoft Operating Systems

  • Experience providing Desktop/Server Support

  • Language

  • English & Portuguese

  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Very good IT skills including various Asset Management Tools

  • Proven track record in business to business communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a client facing environment e.g. technical services
  • Microsoft Accreditation
  • Microsoft SCCM
  • Familiarity with a variety of SAM tools such as Flexera or Snow
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • You need to have a high degree of accountability, adaptability, and service orientation
  • Have a high attention to details and you’re able to communicate with stakeholders and customers in clear-to-understand language
  • You’re self-driven and a problem-solver; effectively prioritizing and managing requests by AMER sales teams
