Senior Financial Analyst

Provide financial support to the Business Planning in performing core FP&A reporting related to Moody’s Investors Service (MIS), development of dashboards, and financial analysis for revenue and market.

Functional Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage MIS consolidated interactive dashboards or analyses to highlight the status of Key performance indicators and provide insightful information to business and Finance management.

  • Assist in the creation of MIS budgeting, rolling and quarterly forecasting, 5-year strategic plan.

  • Responsible for regular and ad-hoc revenue reporting and analysis for an allocated line of businesses supporting the revenue, markets, and analysis team.

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain visual reports and dashboard reporting using Power BI.

  • Support preparation of monthly and quarterly materials for senior management presentations, discussions, and reviews.

  • Ability to consolidate data, perform analysis globally for specific aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

  • Responsible for maintaining an up-to-date record of process documents.

  • Identify process commonalities to align similar activities, where possible.

  • Recommend improvements/enhancements to support Business Planning projects.

  • Evaluate and improve existing dashboards by collaborating with other teams to integrate similar dashboards, adding information, or using additional data sources/systems.

  • Design methodology and project documentation.

  • Participate in special projects as assigned by Finance management. Scope/Supervision and Interaction :

  • Makes decisions appropriate for the level of responsibility.

  • Raises concerns to the appropriate level of management and keeps management informed of activities.

  • Interacts with MIS colleagues in different countries, Corporate Planning, Accounting, Hyperion systems, in FP&A.

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, or relevant field.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in using Business Intelligence tools is desirable.

  • Advanced English in both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • The ability to develop interactive dashboards or financial models, including the use of macros, Business Intelligence tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc., is desirable.
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial statement reporting.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data with high standards of attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with adapting multiple systems and performing research. Ability to prepare complex financial data and deploy financial models and forecasts mechanisms.
  • Strong communication skills, including senior stakeholder management.
  • Strong understanding of workflows and proactive in process improvement
